Supersensonic Instruments of Knowing
Catalog of Dowsing and Subtle Energy Instruments
Catalog of Dowsing and Subtle Energy Instruments
This is a 1975 catalog of specialized pendulums, dowsing instruments and other subtle energy devices once sold by Christopher Hills' University of the Trees. The catalog includes detailed directions of the devices - some of which you may still find on Ebay or other sources - but even if you can't buy them, the book contains lots of information that might spark ideas for things you can build or have made. (Especially when used in combination with Section III of Hills' massive Supersensonics).
For instance, have you ever considered trying a pendulum made of blown glass and partially filled with mercury? Lots of useful advice too.
Quote:
Excerpt from page 34: "The pendulum is tuned to your personal vibration by allowing the thread to slip very loosely through the thumb and the forefinger until the pendulum appears to come "alive" and rotate or oscillate. At this "alive" point, you make a knot in the thread because this is the string length suitable for you. Another person using the same pendulum may find that resonance occurs at a different point of string length." |
