Traders are continuously surrounded by false opinions and misleading theories about the causes of the market movements by newspapers, media and so called "market-experts": for the real causes a trader should search elsewhere, investigating the nature of repeating cycles and their effects upon human beings. In this book the author examines some astronomical cycles and their effect on the stock market trying to recover the lost knowledge of the ancients in the footsteps of pioneers of this field like Gann and Bayer.

The author graduated “magna cum laude” at the Bocconi Business School of Milan in Italy and spent 15 years in Milan, London, Chicago and Lugano working in the investment banking and hedge fund industry: in 1998 he was Economist and Country Analyst in the Italian branch of Bank of America, in 2000 he was market maker on European Government Bonds for Bank of America in London and later proprietary trader for a Cayman based Global Macro hedge fund in Switzerland.
