About the Author
Howard Beckman was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA., where he attended Temple University studying Philosophy and Religion. He later spent many years in India, Tibet and Thailand where he developed the knowledge of precious gems and their powers to heal. On returning to the USA he further increased his knowledge by gaining a degree as a Graduate Gemologist. Howard (Hamsavatar), is the author of "An Introduction to Vedic Astrology" and "Mantras, Yantras and Fabulous Gems - healing secrets of the ancient Vedas" and "Vibrational Healing with Gems". He is president and founder of the Vedic Cultural Fellowship in New Mexico and founding member of the American Council of Vedic Astrology.
