Having read the book once, and looking forward to reading it many times over, it is with great pleasure that I say that this is by far one of the most beautiful and empowering books out there today in the field of spirituality. Don't let the fact that it is channeled lead you away from this book as the profound and practical wisdom that it shares is priceless. It is a book that should be experienced not intellectualized, to feel the fullness of the message that it is sharing. This was my first experience with the author Paul Selig and his work, and I very much resonated with the energy that he presents, and that is captured in this book. I was going to write more, but the previous reviewer Steve, seemed to have captured the rest of what I wished to share about it and Paul so well.

Bottom line, if you are seeking to find and live your truth, if you are ready to expand your consciousness to reach new depths of being, if you are interested in cultivating your intuition and live from your knowing, then this is one of the best resources for that. This book invites us with a loving and grounded tone to step into the divine aspect of who we are and raise ourselves to live out the potential we have come here to experience.

Iron Crotch Qi Gong, as the name would suggest, strengthens the abdomen and lower parts of the torso by exercises developed and used in ancient Chinese times. It was developed a thousand years ago alongside Chinese martial arts (Wushu) that were also developed at that time. The aim of Iron Crotch Qi Gong was to strengthen the male organs and lower abdominal area against trauma.

It was also discovered at that time to have remarkable effects in strengthening the sexual prowess of males and has more recently been used to overcome impotence and associated sexual diseases.

    By Stephen T. Asma
    Published by Hampton Roads Publishing
    ISBN 9781612830056

Originally published by Writers and Readers in 1998, this is an iconoclastic, illustrated romp through the life of the Buddha both a credible exploration of his life and teachings and an entertaining introduction to the philosophy of Buddhism. Many Westerners know about the meditation practices of Buddhism, but few understand the Buddha's philosophical teachings. This book puts the teachings (dharma) in their proper context and unravels some of the more dense knots of Buddha's thinking. And it does all this while entertaining the reader with humorous illustrations and popculture sensibility. This primer, constructed like a graphic novel, cuts through the New Age nonsense that is often mistaken for Buddhism. Asma is perceptive and passionate. Buddha for Beginners is truly a book that engages the intellect, opens the heart, and expands the spirit.

    From Publishers Weekly
Revising his 1996 illustrated primer, Asma (The Gods Drink Whiskey) explores the key tenets of Buddhism in the style of a graphic novel. A sparse text punctuated by extensive illustrations—some cartoonlike and others more serious and detailed—describes Siddhartha Gautamas enlightenment, what the Buddha taught and how Buddhism developed as the Buddhas followers encountered various Asian cultures. Asma, a professor of philosophy at Chicagos Columbia College, argues that Buddhist ideas are deeply misunderstood in the West, and he distinguishes these from Buddhist culture. Placing Buddhism in the context of Hindu philosophy, Asma explores the four noble truths, the eightfold path, the five aggregates, the concept of no-self and other ideas critical to this Asian religion. He liberally references specific Hindu and Buddhist scriptures and tackles such tricky subjects as how reincarnation can occur if an immortal self doesnt exist. Asma also briefly touches on the role of women as Buddhism developed. His take on which current forms hold closest to the Buddhas teachings may provoke disagreement from some practitioners. This brief, irreverent tour of Buddhism and the sometimes humorous, sometimes grotesque, illustrations wont be to all tastes; the book includes adult images.

When a scientist intends to talk about the Philosopher's Stone. there will be surprised! Yet Patrick Burensteinas, scientific training, describes the alchemical Great Work he knows well and the conclusions that are imposed on him about our universe. He said that between modern science and ancient alchemy, the common point is the search for unity, Light and the goal of alchemy is to transform matter into light. It has a permanent pressure on the material. Thus the law of gravity as it is usually interpreted may be perceived differently, which opens up possibilities for understanding the physical phenomena of mysticism as levitation and glorious body. It also proposes a new interpretation of our reality with parallel worlds and black holes. In the light of alchemy illuminate for us the traditions of the Bible and the Gospel and reveals the reality behind its symbols and renewing our hope. Through this book, the reader will discover that alchemy is a curious way where you can find something if we do not seek and that ultimately there is only one thing to do it 'is to stop making resistance to light by stopping our agitation.

Therefore, until the end, François Mitterrand he mixed a magical dimension to her medical treatment? Had in mind the middle man causing land for the new millennium, a party along the meridian of Paris? The diversity of its ties to the extreme right in the steeple of the village showing the "quiet strength" as the Masonic connotations of the architecture of "great works" of two seven, nothing is meaningless. For Nicolas Bonnal, author of heretical Rooster: Autopsy of French exception and Internally the new initiatory path, this form of syncretism illustrated by Mitterrand helped pave the way for the "new age" ideology emerged in California during the 60s and since then has continued to spread in France. Including symbols and elements borrowed from traditional religions belief, this movement is developing a kind of religion of man freed from dogma. Republican monarch, steeped in the mysticism of the earth, François Mitterrand he lived in "great insider" as part of a lineage that dates back to ancient Egypt? Carlos Castaneda learned that for us to perceive any of the worlds that exist alongside ours, we must not only want precibirlos, but we also have to have enough energy to use them.

"Magical Passes" is a revolutionary work of Carlos Castaneda, who first offered the key to this energetic conditioning, revealing a series of body positions and physical movements that allow shamans and their apprentices, to navigate their own way.

The book "Magical Passes" is a broad view of the 37 movements or magical passes, known from the disclosure of wisdom nahuath, to initiate the anthropologist Carlos Castaneda, Juan Mathus shaman's apprentice, (Don Juan).

The magical passes described in this DVD and the book, can pick up and redistribute energy to reach optimal states of vitality and alertness, as well as the opportunity to perceive other worlds.

Magical Passes are exercises intended to stimulate certain energy that is accumulated in specific places Auric Field. These "accumulations" are due to the irresponsible way in which we live or in other words, in the irresponsible way in which we use and waste our energy.

As the Auric Field can not get more energy than it contains, you need to use that has been accumulated by running the wrong way to live. This re-channeling of energy wasted is achieved through some exercises or magical passes, the practitioner learns how routines in several series.

This "stimulation" from his unused energy, occurs over a long time and a rigorous practice, surprising effects in the Auric Field and translates in the mind and consciousness of the practitioner.

In ancient Mexico, a line of men and women seers embarked on a sailing trip with the attempt to expand the limits of human perception. Their explorations led them to states of consciousness called "Dream"

Magical Passes are based on the premise that the returning energy to our physical bodies, awakens our connection to the life force that sustains us. An active force and vibration of the Universe which shamans call attempt.

Download Carlos CastanedaLa MAGICAL PASSES Tensegrity is the modern version of those movements called "magical passes" developed by Indian shamans who lived in Mexico in times prior to the Spanish conquest.

Times prior to the Spanish conquest is the term used Don Juan Mathus, an Indian shaman ushered Mexican Carlos Castaneda, Carol Tiggs, Florinda Donner-Grau and Taisha the cognitive world of the shamans who lived in Mexico, according to Don Juan makes between 7,000 and 10,000 years.

Don Juan explained to his four disciples that those shamans discovered through unfathomable practices that humans are capable of perceiving energy directly as it flows in the universe.

The magical passes of those sorcerers of ancient Mexico became his most prized possession. The surrounding of rituals and mystery, and transmitting only their initiates, shrouded in secrecy.

This was the way Don Juan Mathus is transmitted them to his four disciples, who, being the last link of his lineage, came to the unanimous conclusion that his interest was to make the world of Don Juan accessible to those who would know. Therefore, decided to rescue the magical passes of secrecy and ritual status.

Thus created Tensegrity term belonging to the architecture, which means "the property of frames which employ continuous tension members and compression members discontinuous, so each member operates with maximum efficiency and economy."

This term is most appropriate, since it is a mixture of two terms: tension and integrity .. which denote the two driving forces of the magical passes.
